Carolina Paludo Sulczinski
Carolina Paludo Sulczinski was born in 1993 in Brazil. She started dancing Classical Ballet as a child, having different teachers during her formation. In 2006 she moved to Porto Alegre and started to have classes with Izabel Beltrão, and later Viktória Milanez. In 2011 she started to have regularly contemporany classes with Eva Schull and being part of the Comunitary concerts of the city – performing dance pieces created or adapteded by Viktória Milanez. She started her graduation in Dance at the University of UFRGS in 2012, making part of many dance projects and having pedagogy studies and teaching experiences. In Brazil she had renowned teachers such as Luciana Paludo, Simone Rorato and Daggmar Dorneles. She also worked in the Porto Alegre Dance company from Tânia Baumman, performing across the country the piece from Mark Sieczkarek, “Eu estive aqui”. At the moment she studies in the last year of the Bachelor of Arts in Modern Dance at the Folkwang University in Essen. During this period she has worked with other dancers and musicians in colaborative works creating pieces such as “Few moments ago” and “Amesterdam”.
Born in 1990, began his studies of musicology with the artistic subject of violincello (with Prof. Young-Chang Cho) at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen which he finished his Bachelor of Art in August of 2013. Since October 2013, Jonas Wolf has completed his Master’s degree in Musicology and Music Theory, also at the Essen Folkwang University of the Arts. In 2009, Jonas Wolf won a composition prize for the ensemble for new music “de ereprijs” (Apeldoorn). In 2015, he was the composer of the concept concert “The Fellowship” awarded with the Folkwang Prize in Essen.
Musicological contributions by Jonas Wolf were published in the specialist magazines “Die Tonkunst” and “Seiltanz”. Jonas Wolf is a musician in various styles and is a member of the Rhein-Ruhr Philharmonic as well as the “Bowrider String Quartet”. Since 2016 he has held the artistic direction of the Rhein-Ruhr Philharmonic.
Ottoline Calmeijer Meijburg
Ottoline Calmeijer Meijburg, born 1993 in Amersfoort (NL), is studying Physical Theatre
at Folkwang University of Arts. She has a bachelor in Gender Studies and Postcolonial Philosophy from Maastricht University, and these fields influence her work strongly. Her current projects centre around queer femininities and communities of care, combining styles and strategies from performance art, theatre and music.
Mònica Adell Sicart
Mònica Sicart Adell was born in 1990, in Barcelona, Spain. She started her dance education (Classical and Contemporary Dance) in with Silvia Paz l’Escola de Dansa “Esclat” in Blanes. She also finishes her Bachelor in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Barcelona in 2014. While her studies in Psychology she does regularly dance classes in different schools in Barcelona (Area espai de dansa i creació, La Caldera, Varium) with different dance teachers and artists. She had as main teachers, Anne Morin, Pepe Hevia, Chaterine Stuyt, Nadine Gerspacher, and Laura Vilar. Currently is in the last year of the Bachelor of Arts in Modern Dance at the Folkwang University in Essen. She has done pieces as “In Between” or “Auf der äußersten Spitze des Zweigs” working together with other dance and music students for “Junge Coreographen”. She does regularly projects and improvisations with musicians.
Paulo Queiroz Perez
Paulo was born in 88 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Since 2002, Paulo has participated in workshops based on music, dance and dramaturgy. In 2000 he participated in his first play “The Window” by Jeferson Levy and since then he has filled his curriculum with several pieces such as “Honestly” and “Fausto 1” (2003 to 2008) by Amauri Falseti. Paulo not only acts as he has already directed “The circus is dead – Long live Caputtino”(2011). In 2012 Paulo also lived the character “Luiz” in the film “The Last Tango” by the director Fiorina Brotbek held in Biel Bienne in Switzerland.In 2013, Paulo attended a semester of comics at Clown Schule in Mainz and is currently in the last semester of Physical Theater at the Folkwang Universität der Künste.
